Although only really famous for that one tremendous song they are nonetheless music icons, not blessing us with their presence for over three decades. It seems that the wait is finally over with the insurance market utilizing their popularity, featuring them in a lively car insurance marketing campaign. So, what has this song got to do with car insurance? I hear you ask. Well, the advertisement’s voice over said: 'If you’re Salt-n-Pepa, you tell people to ''Push it.'' It’s what you do. 'If you want to save fifteen percent or more on car insurance, you switch to GEICO. It’s what you do.' Still adorned in their infamous oversized leather jackets two of the three band mates encourage different groups to ‘Push it’, offering a sense of energy and excitement to the subject of insurance, which is infamously boring!
